Andrea LaRayne Etzel

Currently I'm a student attending Savannah College of Art & Design, in Savannha, GA.  I am studing Photography & Architectural History.   Though I am a Kansas native, I do enjoy southern life. 

I was born and (besides a short time in Colorado) rasied in Topeka, KS.  Photography has always been apart of my life, my father is also a photographer and my earliest memories are with him working on assignments or in the lab.  As I grew, I became less of an observer and more participator.   I took all the photography classes I could in high school, which were only two, but from those two classes my interest in photography grew.  Over time I played with the idea that photography could be more then a hobby, it could be my career.  So now I have begun the on the course to better my skills and knowledge, improving my abilities has a photographer.

This picture was taken by my father, who is also a photographer. I must have been about two or three.

The following picture is one of my first photographs I ever took has a student of photography. I took a photography class offered at my high school, I think that I was 15 when I took it.  This was taken from my Biology class, looking up at the the tower.
